Unalienable rights vs. Inalienable rights

http://www.sfamerica.net

The Declaration of Independence acknowledges that we were endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. Later on, the word seems to have been changed to "inalienable".

See how blurring the boundary between these categories has taken absolute rights and manifestly attempted to make them open questions for debate, speculation, negotiation and haggling.

And decide for yourself whether the People ever granted their government the authority to carve up and reapportion, like so much butchers meat, the very God-given rights they created it to secure.
